With the Norwalk Girls Basketball season coming to a close in the 4A semifinals, Brayden Plourde takes time to reflect on the team’s state performance this year. Check out the episode above!

Brayden Plourde is a Senior at NHS and is taking his third year of journalism this year. Brayden is involved in swim, student council, Lakewood clubs, MVP, and National Honor Society. He plans to attend a four-year university after high school. “I want to be a sports journalist, so it’s a great opportunity to set myself up for the future,” he said.
Gavin Briar is a Junior at NHS and is in his second year of journalism. Briar says he joined journalism because of his interest in sportscasting and his hopes to join an ESPN panel after college. Outside of the newsroom Briar says he enjoys watching hockey and football as well as baseball. Briar has played baseball for about 12 years and is currently learning how to play hockey. “This year I’m looking forward to staying on top of my work and having fun, because it’s really all that matters.”
