Cross-country teams to run at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School

Tony Anania runs in the 4A State Qualifying Cross Country Meet on Oct. 18, 2023, at Southeast Polk High School. The girls and boys cross-country teams will run at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The Norwalk boys and girls cross-country teams will attend a meet at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The girls junior varsity team will run at 4:55 p.m, and their varsity team will then run at 5:45 p.m. The boys junior varsity team runs at 5:20 p.m. and the boys varsity team will finish the meet, running at 6:05 p.m.

This will be the third meet in the Warriors’ season. Entry is free. A cross-country meet involves each team running a three-mile course, with the results of the meet determined by how well each runner on the team places.
