The Super Bowl can be the most exciting time of the year for some, and some people even have traditions they participate in.
Some people love this time of the year because their team is participating in the playoffs, and some just love football.
Senior Roman Hale, a longtime Packers fan, said his favorite part is just enjoying the football, and seeing a good game.
“Me and my family all watch it at my house, and I really just hope for a competitive, electric game,” he said.
Senior Isaac Binder, a Vikings fan since birth, had a similar response.
“I love watching a good game with no controversial calls, no blowouts,” he said.
But as for people whose teams were still alive in the playoffs, they seemed to be more excited.
Sophomore Beckett Breese said a few weeks ago that he was excited for the upcoming games, as the Ravens haven’t made a trip to the Super Bowl since 2013.
“I really hope the Ravens make it this year, because this is definitely our prime,” he said. “We have the best quarterback in the league and our defense has been playing great, especially some of the rookies who had to come in and have an immediate impact.”
Breese said his happiness was riding on whether the Ravens made the Super Bowl or not.
“If we don’t win, I will be extremely sad because, I feel like this is our year,” Breese said.
