An artist who the Des Moines Register compared to Grant Wood has an exhibit on display at the Des Moines Art Center until Oct. 20.
The artist, b. Robert Moore, is known for addressing social justice and black identity through visual narratives. A Des Moines Register article said Moore “is one of the most noted artists in recent history to bring mainstream attention to Iowa since Grant Wood.”
