Norwalk Football to host ADM on Sept. 20

Norwalk Warrior Football will host the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers for their week four matchup at 7 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Mineart Field.

The ADM Tigers look to go back-to-back against the Warriors, as they won the previous matchup with a score of 47-14. The Warriors return 2nd Team All-State players, Defensive Lineman Kolton Borcherding-Johnson and Wide Receiver Eli Robbins. ADM returns only one 2nd Team All-State player, Offensive Lineman Caleb Oberhoffer.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at vancoevents.com/us/events/44570/sessions/120483/sections/75781/tickets. Tickets are $7 and student activity passes can be used.

Keegan Johnson is a senior at Norwalk High School. This is Johnson's' second semester of journalism, he said he joined journalism to become a better writer. Johnson is involved in rugby, band, jazz band, and is the Pro Start team captain. Johnson likes to race RC cars and play video games in his free time. "I am really looking forward to writing interesting stories and keeping people in the loop."

Gavin Briar, Staff Reporter

Gavin Briar is a Junior at NHS and is in his second year of journalism. Briar says he joined journalism because of his interest in sportscasting and his hopes to join an ESPN panel after college. Outside of the newsroom Briar says he enjoys watching hockey and football as well as baseball. Briar has played baseball for about 12 years and is currently learning how to play hockey. “This year I'm looking forward to staying on top of my work and having fun, because it's really all that matters.”
