Norwalk High School holds auditions for the fall play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”

Eli Geisler performs the role of the Cheshire Cat in the 2023 fall production of “Alice in Wonderland.” Auditions are under way for this year’s fall play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”

Norwalk High School will hold auditions for the fall play from 5-6:30 p.m. today and Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Warrior Zone.

This year’s play is “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” The play takes place years after Harry Potter’s original story. Now, he and his friends start on a new adventure including a new generation of Hogwarts students.

Izabella Duggan is a freshman at Norwalk high school and is embarking on her first semester in journalism. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in artistic pursuits, and swimming. Since Duggan is fluent in spanish, she adds a unique cultural perspective to her works. When she was asked why she joined journalism, she said "It is a fun way to inform people about the exciting things happening here in Norwalk". Duggan is always eager to explore, and share new stories and experiences.
